Hey, I’m James Richardson, a professional Lincolnshire wedding photographer.
As a wedding photographer, I specialise in natural and candid wedding photography in Lincolnshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and beyond! I also cater to Destination Weddings across Europe.
Over the years, I have crafted a unique, honest, and natural style. My approach to capturing your special day involves minimal posing, allowing the moments to unfold naturally and seamlessly – focusing on candid shots over posed ones! However, I do encourage taking a few moments for intimate couple shots and those group photos, too.
With my relaxed and unhurried style, combined with years of experience, I ensure that no matter where your wedding takes place, the end result will be a genuine and natural collection of images that reflect your day and personality.

Choosing the right wedding photographer for you is an incredibly important decision. If you’re looking for an honest coverage of your wedding day resulting in a range of beautiful, romantic and factual images then please get in touch.
My finished work has been described as “beautiful and natural’ and I believe that my instinct for natural results ensures that moments from your wedding day will last for generations.
I predominantly work with natural light, no big lighting set-ups, just the ambient light given on the day. The result natural more unposed than posed images with guidance and direction where necessary.
I do not over complicate the coverage of your day. I keep the coverage flowing and natural as possible. No awkward posing or long moments waiting on lighting set-ups. The coverage reflects your personality, not mine.

My approach is relaxed and with a “honest portrayal” of your day. If my style were to be labelled you can call it candid or natural wedding photography; for me its simply story-telling through images!
Out of season or mid-week wedding?
If your wedding is out of the main season October through to March please ask for my “Out of Season” prices. No matter what coverage you are looking for I can create a bespoke package to suit your wedding coverage and budget.
