Alison & Billy – The George Hotel Wedding, Stamford

Now, The George is one of Stamford’s infamous venues, known for it’s great food and period features throughout. I’ve photographed here many times, from Zoe & James and a few commercial photoshoots too, The George is a great all round venue.

This wedding though, was something else. Alison & Billy have only been together a short time, but in that time achieved a lot, had fun and knew what they liked, and The George was one of these!

Their wedding day was a simple, intimate affair where their close friends and family were in attendance and many had travelled a fair distance. 

Both Allison and Billy got ready at The George in the morning and so was easy to see what everyone was up to. 

During the service, a nod to loved ones was taken place and Alison & Billy took their own vows. Once the service was over, we all headed into the gardens for canapes, drinks and photos!

I love shooting weddings like this but the real reason I love these photos so much is because of the couple themselves. Honestly they did not stop smiling all day and were totally chilled when it came to their photography – my kinda couple!
