Helen & Colin were married at The Black Horse, Baston. I’ve been before, but for food (really good), so this was the first time I’d been there to do a wedding.

The pub is amazing and the venue for weddings is equally better. The staff were attentive and the food also good (as expected).

I hadn’t met both of them in person, except for a phone call, but both Colin & Helen were amazing to meet and so welcoming. They both clearly loved each other and they had 60 of their closest friends and family join them for the service and day itself.

After the ceremony, we all spent time outside (dodging the rain) for drinks, canapés and photos, it was a very chilled day and everyone enjoyed themselves. I also had a great laugh with the groom and best man.

Once the evening came along, the drinks were flowing, dancing in full swing and everyone was enjoying themselves. Their first dance was timeless, followed by a ska session with some questionable dancing!

It was a truly fun and warming wedding – which will always be one to remember.
