I photograph families the same way I photograph weddings — by blending in, keeping things relaxed, and letting moments happen rather than manufacturing them.
If your kids are running around, brilliant. If the dog keeps getting in shot, even better. If someone cries laughing, perfect. That’s the stuff you’ll want to look back on in twenty years.
Sessions are typically outdoors — a favourite woodland, a local park, your back garden, or a stretch of Lincolnshire countryside. Somewhere that feels like you.

Common questions

Before you book

Wherever feels right for your family. Popular spots include Belton House, Stamford Meadows, Rutland Water and Burghley Park — but I’m happy to work anywhere.

Whatever you feel comfortable in. I’d avoid very bright whites or neon colours, but other than that — just wear yourselves.

They never do, and that’s absolutely fine. The best photos usually happen in the chaos, not despite it. I’m very patient.
