As a wedding photographer, I often photograph weddings at Corby Registry Office.
Many couples choose it because it’s the quickest and most affordable way to get married, with no religious side to it. The photos are no less important here. We can still have plenty of fun, and your ceremony is properly covered.
The ceremony room
I know the layout of Corby Registry Office and the registrars who work there well, and it’s a simple set-up. There’s one room for weddings, the council chamber, which holds up to 100 guests. It’s a large, bright and airy space with plenty of room for photos and guests.
Tasteful silk flower arrangements add to the atmosphere, and you can play music during the ceremony.
After the ceremony
Afterwards, you and your guests can spend some time in the council chamber or out in the foyer. The registry office is in the centre of Corby, which makes it easy to head to one of the local parks for couple portraits, or to the Corby Cube. The Cube is a brilliant space for photos, and many of my couples here use it for group photos as well as their portraits.
Neither your wedding nor your photos need to be any less special just because you’re marrying at a registry office. You’re getting married, and you deserve a great wedding photographer.
