Sophie & Wesley were married at The Leagate Inn, Coningsby – a beautiful venue that I’d heard of but never had the chance to photograph at before. It’s a really charming place, full of character, and it turned out to be the perfect setting for their day.

I’d met Sophie & Wesley about 6 months before and they were amazing, but the moment I arrived for Sophie’s prep, I knew it was going to be a great day! 

You could see straight away how much they cared for each other and how happy they were to be surrounded by their closest family and friends. The whole day had a lovely relaxed feel, and everyone was just there to celebrate and enjoy themselves.

The ceremony itself was really nice, with smiles all around and just the right touch of nerves and excitement. Afterwards, we headed outside where guests enjoyed drinks and canapés. 

The weather was kind, giving us plenty of chances for photos, and the atmosphere was light and fun – exactly what you’d want from a wedding day.

I really enjoyed spending time with the wedding party, especially during the group shots and couple portraits. 

Sophie & Wesley were naturals in front of the camera, and we had a good laugh along the way, which always makes for the best photos.

As the evening rolled in, the energy went up a notch. The Leagate Inn team kept everything running smoothly, the drinks kept flowing, and the dance floor soon filled up.

Their first dance was a lovely moment – personal and heartfelt – and afterwards the party kicked off properly. 

Lots of dancing, plenty of laughter, and a brilliant way to round off such a special day.

Sophie & Wesley’s wedding at The Leagate Inn was a joy to be part of – a day full of love, laughter, and memories that I know will stay with them and their guests for years to come.

It was a truly fun and warming wedding – which will always be one to remember.
