Jo & David were married at The Newark Gilstrip for my first wedding of January 2024!

I was lucky enough to photograph The Gilstrap last year for Hannah & Alex’s micro-wedding, and it’s a fantastic venue in the grounds of Newark Castle. The Gilstrap is an ideal venue for an intimate wedding in Newark and Jo & David just wanted that with 20 of their closest friends and family.  It was just lovely to photograph at such a charming and beautiful venue.  The weather on the day had been fantastic for January, and we had back to back sun for most of the day!  Following a lovely ceremony we went into the gardens of the registry office for some family photos with the backdrop of the Castle.  Everyone then headed off to the next location where they were having a meal and drink with their friends and family.  It was a pleasure to photograph Jo & David’s ceremony and I wish them all the best in the future together.  I’ve shared below some of my favourite photos from their wedding and, as you will see, Jo looked absolutely beautiful.  Jo & David chose my micro wedding photography package which fit perfectly with their  requirements of their day If you would like me to chat about your own wedding photography, please contact me.
